Bronwen is a Canberra-based photographer specialising in horse racing. She was appointed chief photographer for Racing and Sports in March 2000. She has covered the major carnivals in Sydney and Melbourne since 1993 and her coverage will be extended to other centres through her involvement with Racing and Sports. Bronwen has a deserved reputation as one of Australia's leading racing photographers.
Bronwen aspires to work internationally - covering racing in UK, US, Japan, Hong Kong and SE Asia. She rates the best horses she's covered as Saintly, Might and Power, Sunline, Octagonal, Intergaze and Tie The Knot. Her "favourites are Saintly, Octagonal and Sunline - and she's formed "an emotional attachment" to all three.
Bronwen's work is published internationally, including TimeForm's prestigious "Racehorses" publication. Bronwen rode her first horse when she was six and has been "horse obsessed" ever since. She currently owns a mare that she's training for dressage. Last year she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree at the Australian National University, majoring in political science and economic history.
