HISTORY
Sydney's Time to Party

The AJC's Autumn Carnival at Randwick brings together so much that is quintessential Sydney.

But it is also effectively the entire NSW racing industry that comes together at this time. There are the races at Randwick over three weeks, the Yearling Sales at the Inglis complex at Newmarket as well as various other sporting, commercial and cultural activities.

We finally have so many forms of the industry coming together with Government making a contribution alongside the race clubs, the governing body RNSW and all the various sponsors.

Working as one, it is expected that this could be one of the most successful Randwick carnivals yet.

Of course over the years these 'Racing Championships' have seen some incredible equine feats, great duels and wonderful riding and training accomplishments.

From the domination of TJ to the legend of Bart, horsemanship doesn't get much better. That is only complemented by the brilliance of the likes of Moore, Sellwood, Dittman, Munro, Quinton, Beadman, Boss and Cassidy who've ridden the saddle with skill and initiative.
