HISTORY
A Big Weekend in Sydney town

The AJC's Spring Carnival at Randwick and Warwick Farm is an exciting racing and social period.

It generates brilliant on course action with some of the best thoroughbreds in the land competing for substantial prize money.

Sydney has six Group Ones in the Spring, and five of them are at Randwick.

But the carnival is more than just a racing festival. With the weather warming it brings the finest of the fillies out to play and naturally that means the boys are never far behind.

There are also many social aspects taking place and of course there is the build up to the National Rugby League Grand Final as well.

With a vastly improved co-operative approach coming from all sectors of the industry and with Government now taking some part too, racing in Sydney is going forward very quickly.
