FORENSICS ($900,000 2006 Easter, 4m Flying Spur-Prove It) has now achieved the rare feat of being a Group 1 winner at two, three and four years of age, having previously lifted the Golden Slipper and Queen of the Turf Stakes at the highest level.

This was her first win in Melbourne and atoned for her most unlucky run at Flemington 28 days earlier.

Forensics was offered for sale by Arrowfield Stud and purchased by Woodlands. She is the second Woodlands Easter purchase to win at Group 1 level in the Darley colours this season, following Sousa's Spring Champion Stakes success.

The Peter Snowden trained mare is now the winner of seven races in 15 starts for earnings of nearly $3.5million.

OUR JOAN OF ARC ($15,000 2008 Classic, 2f Beautiful Crown-Bright Heroine) opened up Derby day on a positive note for favourite backers and rewarded her purchasers Darby Bloodstock with a second pre-Christmas stakes win when proving too good in the Group 3 Inglis Maribyrnong Plate.

An earlier winner of the Listed Gimcrack Stakes, the Clarry Conners trained filly, who was offered for sale by Alanbridge Stud, is now the winner of $200,000 – not a bad return on the $15,000 she cost as a yearling just six months ago.

In the Group 2 Wakeful Stakes, ROCHA ($400,000 2007 Easter, 3f Encosta De Lago-Larrocha) booked her place in Thursday's G1 VRC Oaks with a determined win for trainer Guy Walter and jockey Danny Nikolic.

The filly was offered for sale by Swettenham Stud, who later sold her dam Larrocha at this year's Inglis Australian Broodmare Sale for $1,375,000.

HOT DANISH ($32,000 2005 Scone, Nothin' Leica Dane-Hot 'n' Breezy) added to her remarkably consistent record when sitting on the pace and fighting strongly to land the Group 2 Salinger Stakes.

Prepared for sale by Holbrook Thoroughbreds and secured by trainer Les Bridge, she is now the winner of eight races in 12 starts for earnings of $740,000 and is now likely to tackle Group 1 glory in next Saturday's Emirates Stakes.

Rounding out another outstanding carnival day for Inglis graduates was ALL SILENT (P$280,000 2005 Easter, 5g Belong To Me-Lisheenowen), who was the beneficiary of a daring ride by Damien Oliver before claiming the G3 AAMI International Travel Insurance Stakes.

The half-brother to multiple Group 1 winner Private Steer is building a top record in his own right, having won four times in 10 starts, for $350,000.

He continues a brilliant start to the season for Widden Stud, whose graduates include six individual stakes winners this season, each of them offered at Inglis sales.

An Encosta De Lago colt from Lisheenowen is among entries for next year's Inglis Australian Easter Sale.

Easter entries also include a Shamardal half-brother to today's G1 Victoria Derby winner Rebel Raider (ex Picholine, by Dehere).

Carbine Club winner Dr Doute's (ex No Limit, by Dr Grace) has a Bel Esprit half-brother entered for the 2009 Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
