Tuesday, 26 June 2012: Emirates Park import Artie Schiller has added another North American stakes winner to his worldwide haul.
The Listed Charlie Barley Stakes over a mile on turf at Woodbine in Canada last weekend saw the 3YO Hammers Terror race to a three-and-three-quarter lengths victory.
Hammers Terror clocked the impressive winning time of 1.33.21, his maiden black-type victory coming after a placing in the G3 Lexington Stakes at Keeneland.
Hammers Terror is Artie Schiller's second highest earner in North America this year behind Mr Commons, winner of the G2 Arcadia Stakes at Santa Anita in February.
Artie Schiller will be crowned Australia's Leading Second Sire of 2011/12 with the son of El Prado having progeny earnings of over $1.5 million this season.
