: An impressive winning double at Wyong last week by sons of the the powerfully bred Danehill sire Olympus should increase his appeal among broodmare owners for the 2012 season.
Standing on a fee of only $3300, he is based at Stephen Miller's Erin Park Stud at Tamworth
His two winners at Wyong were the 2YO Turnley, a gelding bred and part owned by his trainer Clarry Connors, and Sutton Brave, a 4YO who recorded his eighth win.
Sutton Brave has also been second in eight races, including the Wellington Boot.
Trained by Mack Griffith at Muswellbrook, he is another good OIympus product for breeder Russ Lazarus, owner of Sutton Farm at Scone.
Olympus products bred by Sutton Farm have also included the good winners Sutton Princess (9 wins, Wellington Boot), Sutton Mist and Sutton Chilli.
Now racing in partnership with his son Michael, Russ Lazarus is a leading personality in breeding and racing who is principal in the syndicates that own Beautiful Crown, Olympus and Youthful Legs, another Erin Park sire.
Also the sire of a winner at last week's Wyong meeting, Beautiful Crown is standing at Patinack Farm in the Hunter Valley.
