A Fine Season For Glenlogan Sires

Tuesday, 10 July 2012: As the 2012 season draws to close Queensland's Glenlogan Park can look back on a season that saw the farm provide three Group One winners with Woorim, Luckygray and Toorak Toff.

Show A Heart will finish as the runaway winner of Queensland's Champion Sire award for the fourth consecutive year – being more than $1million clear of his nearest rival.

Three Glenlogan stallions will finish in the top four stallions in the state with Falvelon and Bradbury's Luck both having huge impacts in the 2011-12 season.

Show A Heart will be crowned Queensland's Champion 2YO Sire and finish in the Top 10 nationally.
Falvelon is currently 2nd on the 2YO Sire's list in Queensland.

Bradbury's Luck's G1 winner Luckygray will be crowned Western Australia's Champion Racehorse.

Show A Heart's highly promising G2 winning colt Luke's Luck will be crowned Western Australia's Champion 2YO.

The Glenlogan Park's stallions had an enormous influence on juvenile racing in Queensland last weekend.

Their success incuded the incredible achievement of having the first five across the line in the 2YO race at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.

The $250,000 QTIS race from Eagle Farm on Saturday was won by Saluter , a colt born on Glenlogan and out of the Show A Heart mare Rosekay Heart.

He fought the race out with the Kelly Schweida prepared Discreet, herself a daughter of Show A Heart and already a stakes winner.

At the Gold Coast Falvelon's debutant filly Ab Fav Di overcame a tough run in transit while a wonderful debut win at Towoomba by the Falvelon colt Favco was a standout.

Favco is the first foal of the Show A Heart mare Coinage. Bred by long term client Fred Lanskey, Favco had really set tongues wagging with an impressive, slick-time trial win at Cranbourne before being transferred to Toowoomba trainer Michael Nolan.

Sunday's 2YO QTIS event at the Sunshine Coast was won by Jet Spur colt Chiricahua getting his head out right at the right moment to defeat Falvelon filly Love Laughing by a lip,

Show A Heart gelding Show A Noee was third ahead of another Show A Heart youngster Hallside Showdown whilst Falvelon's gelding Platinum State rounded out the top five.

A Bradbury's Luck double with Greyzeel registering his 7th win and Zamboni going back-to-back with victories capped the weekend.
