Tuesday, 31 July 2012: Piccadilly Circus, the dam of champion sire Fastnet Rock, is set to visit US wonder horse Uncle Mo at Coolmore Stud this spring.
Coolmore Australia general manager Michael Kirwan is looking foreward to the match as he is an unabashed fan of the
Uncle Mo outcross.
He was a spectacular racehorse and as a two-year-old he completely dominated his rivals every time he ran," Kirwan said.
"He's also an extremely good looking individual and I haven't met a soul who hasn't been hugely impressed with him physically.
"The support he's received in the US is testament to that, as are the ringing endorsements that he's been given by the likes of James Bester and Peter O'Brien people who know a nice horse when they see one.
"I'm very much looking forward to his arrival here and I can't wait for Australasian breeders to see him.
Other proven producers amongst
Uncle Mo's impressive first book in Australia are the dams of seven-time
G1 winner Grand Armee, Delzao, Lovemelikearock and Murphy's Blu Boy.
Uncle Mo will stand the 2012 season at
Coolmore Australia at a fee of $24,200.
