Wednesday, 1 August 2012: New Zealand Bloodstock's Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale at Karaka on Friday has attracted 31 supplementary entries.
The Winter Mixed Bloodstock Sale, which sold this year's Singapore Derby and Chairman's Trophy winner Chase Me, has had 10 broodmares, 5 yearlings, 3 two-year-olds, 7 unraced horses and 6 racehorses added to the catalogue.
Catalogued as Lots 76 to 106, the supplementary entries offer mares served by Captain Rio, Duelled, Librettist, Nom du Jeu and Postponed with entries including:
- Keep Thinking, a Faltaat mare from a Carnegie half-sister to ten-time Group 1 winner
So You Think (
High Chaparral).
- Pluck. a Johar half-sister to Sgp-2 Patrons' Bowl winner Bon Amie (Fairy King) and from the family of G1 winners Vengeance Of Rain (Zabeel) and Dizelle (Zabeel). Pluck has been served by Nom du Jeu.
- Singing Angel, a daughter of Rahy and dam of Listed winner Tornado Alley (Flying Spur). Singing Angel has been served by Librettist.
