Good Mix In Adelaide Sale

Friday, 3 August 2012: Sunday's Magic Millions Adelaide August Mixed Sale at the Morphettville Complex has attracted 42 lots including a number of quality prospects.

Among the untried young stock in the sale are lots by Good Journey, Fomalhaut, Jetway, King Cugat, Lion Heart, Nadeem, Oratorio, Testafiable and Written Tycoon.

Highlights of the sale include:

Lot 2 - Oratorio-Arakazar bay filly
2yo by Danehill's Group One winning Irish bred son. From an 11 time winning and stakes performed half sister to Group One winner Blevvo. Unbroken. SABOIS Breeder paid and BOBS eligible.

Lot 3 - Arakazel

Winning and city performed Snitzel mare. From the 11 time winning and stakes performer Arakazar - half sister to three stakes winners including Blevvo.

Lot 7 - Shamardal-Chatterbell bay filly

2yo by outstanding international sire by Giant's Causeway. From a twice winning half sister to stakes winner Bellonic. Family of Sunline's G1 conqueror Piavonic. Broken in.

Lot 10 - Dubai Dawn

7yo mare - has not been to stud. Six wins, including four in Adelaide. By Mr. Prospector sire E Dubai and from a lightly raced daughter of King of Kings. Family of Huntingdale.

Lot 11 - Dubai Me Diamonds

5yo mare - has not been to stud. City winner of three races to 1400 metres. Half sister by Dubawi to Group winner Outlandish Lad and Flemington stakes winner It'llbefantastic.

Lot 13 - Flying Away

City winning 4yo mare by Flying Spur. Half sister to South African black type galloper Maureen de Lago. From a winning Seeking the gold half sister to Pretty Prolific. Outstanding international family. Has not been to stud.

Lot 21 - Lindera

Multiple city winning 7yo mare by Golden Slipper winner Danzero. From a winning sister to Alcove, three quarter sister to Viminaria and three other stakes winners. Has not been to stud.

Lot 26 - Noble Mistress

City winner by former champion South Australian based sire Blevic - the broodmare sire of star gallopers Phelan Ready and Alcopop. Three wins to 1100 metres. Has not been to stud. Being sold as a racing and breeding prospect.

Lot 33 - Silver Moment

City winning five-year-old by Barely a Moment. From an unraced Scenic three quarter sister Cohort and half sister to Grand Cavalier.

Lot 34 - Spirit Line

Winning four-year-old mare by Breeders Cup winner Artie Schiller. From Group Two winner and $696,095 earner Umaline. Mare is a half sister to stakes winner Fasline and stakes placed Furline. Dam is half sister to dam of Captain Sonador.
