The Allen Jerkens-trained Emma's Encore, winner of last month's G3 Belmont Victory Ride Stakes, came from came from behind to take out the G1 Prioress Stakes (1200m) at Saratoga.
Emma's Encore joins Congrat's previous two G1 winners Turbulent Descent and Wickedly Perfect, both members of his outstanding first crop which saw him claim Leading US First Season Sire honours in 2010.
Congrats (A.P. Indy x Praise by Mr Prospector) already has sired 105 winners including 23 stakes performers, producing an astonishing 71 percent winners to runners which is almost on par with Vinery associate sire Testa Rossa, one of the most prolific stallions in Australia.
Emma's Encore (Congrats x French Opera, by Wild Again) also won the G2 Victory Ride Stakes at Belmont last month and is proving to be a tremendous bargain as she was bought by Ulrich Racing for just $2000 when she went through the ring at the 2010 Keeneland September yearling sale.
She is out of the unplaced Wild Again mare French Opera, a sister to Brazilian G3 winner Wild Emotions.
French Opera is from a half-sister to the dam of Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro.
