The San Miguel AJC Autumn Carnival Tipping Competition gives fearless punters and racing novices alike a shot at more than $12,500 in prizes - and entry is FREE! To celebrate the launch of the Autumn Carnival, the San Miguel Tipping Competition will include some of Royal Randwick's, and indeed Australia's most prestigious races.

Simply enter by visiting the Australian Jockey Club tipping section - before 2.00pm April 19, Easter Saturday, San Miguel Derby-Doncaster Day. Each person can enter up to three times.

The San Miguel AJC Autumn Carnival is held over 4 days from April 19 to May 3. All you have to do is select a horse in each of three nominated races (usually Group one races) held over each of the four days of the San Miguel AJC Autumn Carnival. In other words, the aim is to pick the winners of 12 nominated races.

In making your selections, please consider you may well be choosing a future Champion of the turf. Autumn time at Royal Randwick is where Champions are made. Your selections will earn points according to their performances. In the event of a tie, a countback system will be implemented. (See T & C's)

An early bird offer of DOUBLE POINTS for your DAY 1 tips (Australia's Richest Raceday - San Miguel AJC Derby - Doncaster) is available until 9am, Tuesday, 15th April. Prior to final acceptances for the feature races being declared. So why not take an early punt and be rewarded!

Entrants can check their progress daily and the leading 100 contenders will be featured on the website following each day of the carnival. Winners will be announced on Monday, May 5, following Championship Day on May 3.

First prize (value $10,099): a five-night package, including airfares, at the Marriott Hotel in Surfers Paradise, an exclusive Cargo Bar cocktail party for 10 people, Panasonic 68cm flat screen TV, Longines watch, $1000 cash, five tickets to Sydney Springfest on EnergyAustralia Epsom Day, two pairs of Gucci sunglasses, drive a Lexus for a weekend, and a case of Seppelt wine.

Second prize (value$1,800): two nights at the Marriott Sydney Harbour, five tickets to Sydney Springfest, one pair of Gucci sunglasses, and a case of Seppelt wine.

Third prize (value $760): two tickets to Sydney Springfest, a race day dining package for two at Royal Randwick, and a case of Seppelt wine.
