Friday, 15 June 2012: Emulous and Nahrain are the class acts in Wednesday's Windsor Forest Stakes at Royal Ascot at the six-day stage.
As both are Group One winners already, they will be forced to carry a penalty in the Group Two event.
Dermot Weld's
Emulous
won the Matron Stakes last season and looked as good as ever on her return in a Group Three at the Curragh, while Roger Varian's
Nahrain
has yet to run this season after being touched off at the Breeders' Cup.
Sir Henry Cecil's Chachamaidee was an impressive winner at Lingfield on her return and will be a tough nut to crack.
Sir Mark Prescott's Clinical was a good winner at Epsom on Oaks day and also among the 14 possibles are James Fanshawe's Captivator, Richard Fahey's Barefoot Lady and John Gosden's Joviality.
