Monday, 18 June 2012: Trainer Dennis Drier says he “couldn't be happier” with Beach Beauty as she prepares for the R3 million Vodacom Durban July at Greyville on July 7.

The tiny four-year-old Dynasty filly loves Greyville, which suits her blistering turn of foot.
She was full of running at the course last year when winning the G2 Gold Bracelet over 2000m on the last day of the season and she also pulled clear impressively when winning the Betting World 1900 with 58,5kg on her back three weeks ago.
Beach Beauty also won the G2 KRA Fillies Guineas at Greyville last season and in her only defeat at this course was unlucky when she flew from a hopeless position to finish a narrow second to Happy Archer in last season's G1 Garden Province Stakes.
Drier said that her Betting World 1900 jockey Sean Cormack would retain the ride for the July where she will have to carry 58kg.
Drier said his two-year-old Tsogo Sun Medallion winner Potent Power was also doing well and would be going for the G1 Golden Horseshoe over 1400m on July day.
He ran on well in testing conditions at Scottsville to win the Medallion, so there appears no reason why he should not stay the 1400m.
Drier said that Bambina Stripes, who hasn't enjoyed much luck in the Champions Season, was having “a little break” in the paddock.
She lost her jockey in the KRA Fillies Guineas and Drier could find nothing amiss with her after her disappointing run in the Woolavington 2000.
She may run in the G2 Gold Bracelet over 2000m at Greyville on Super Saturday, July 28.
Drier's impressive debut winner Schiffer, a two-year-old Var filly, had been earmarked for his Cape Sizzling Summer string.
