Ato goes from strength to strength.

Monday, 25 June 2012: The Patrick Shaw trained Ato has gone from winning the Kris Flyer over 1200 to winning the Patron's Bowl over 1600m in a few short weeks.


Ato was dominant over the longer trip and favourite Gingerbread Man could find no answer- he in fact ran third and Nandowra came though to take the second. Deep Pockets made his connections pockets a fraction less deep with his fourth place finish.

The Jolie's Shinju saw the Zenno Rob Roy colt Red Beard win with a strong finish over the 1400m which could mean he would get a longer trip. Black Ice, who has done a lot of racing in recent weeks, showed that it hadn't been too much by coming second, with The Commedian third and Captain Obvious fourth.
