Friday, 29 June 2012: We learned from the APIC-- Asia Property Investment Conference ended in May that tourism resort has become a new breakthrough point for the real estate industry, and as important parts of a quality lifestyle, equestrian sports, golf and yachts have become important considerations for developers.

HORFA has talked about many tourism real estates concerning equestrian sports in our last two reports, which reflects the strong interest the capital market takes toward tourism resorts and the horse industry.

• Take Yunnan, a traditional travel destination in China, the CITIC Group and Shining Star Group have joined together to invest in Kunming City and build a diversified resort. The Shining Star Equestrian Club fully conforming to international standards is already completed and will act as the first equestrian training base in Yunnan Province.

• Take Hainan as another example. Located at the southern tip of China, the Haikou Visun• Great Land project developed by Visun Group takes a total area of about 1,160 acres including a golf course, a yacht club and an equestrian club. The Visun Royal International Equestrian Club launched in an important event in Hainan Province in April.
