The John Size trained winner with Ty Angland riding was always in a good position and once in the straight didn't look like he would lose. President Lincoln may have suffered from second up syndrome and certainly lost a plate in the race but was outclassed by the winner. Victory Master was third. Favourite Wah May Star was disappointing and looks as if he needs the summer break. Majestic Falcon gave Prebble a warm time as he proved difficult to settle. Fleet Command, our roughie, gave us a few moments of excitement but then had to settle for fifth but it wasn't a bad run and he will stay on the list.
