Saturday, 7 July 2012: Two G3s on the card here, the Prix Messidor and the Prix de Ris-Orangis.
The Messidor is over 1600m and while the track will be soft it won't be bottomless which may account for the decision to supplement Pisco Sour from Godolphin and Stand My Ground, which Christophe Lemaire will ride for Pia Brandt.
Favourite however is Tin Horse on 3.0, with Moonwalk in Paris on 3.50 and Vagabond Shoes 4.00.
The Ris-Orangis is over 1200m and here we find the old favourite Marchand d'Or, now with Mikael Delzangles, and the estimated price of 6/1 looks generous. Fred Lalloupet is progressing well and is on 4.0 with English raider Boomerang Bob on 4.25. Good to see the Umberto Rispoli is back in the saddle and he's on Nordic Truce for Peter Schiergen.
