Center Divider was second and Tahoe Lake third, with Newsdad fourth.
Over at Betfair Holywood Park trainer John Sadler had a great day getting a treble which included the two feature races. He won the A Gleam with Switch, who finished ahead of Sugarinthemorning and Glamlorista. Then Lady of Shamrock won the G1 American Oaks from My Gigi and Best Present Ever.
Many of these - certainly the Sadler horses will - go now to Del Mar.
In the Delaware Oaks Grace Hall was left in for Tony Dutrow and obliged with the win, in fact a very soft win, finishing 3 3/4 lengths clear of Via Villaggio.
