Saturday, 28 July 2012: This is Group 2 over 1800m for 3y+ on the turf track, and it looks very competitive with many of the usual suspects lining up.
There are about six or more horses who would not surprise if they won, so we will go with the first three that we like headed by Black Ice, then Chase Me and Flying Fulton, and in the second three we will put Waikato, Jamal Malik and Silveron Wings, but then they are all going to be relatively short priced and you won't boost the pension fund too much be going wide.
Earlier on the card there is the Magic Millions Juvenile Championship G3 for the 2yo over 1200m. The locals seem keen on Super Kenny, but we may stick with Golden Horseshoe winner Pit Stop, and put in Yin Je, Super Ready and Holy Empire.
