Tuesday, 31 July 2012: A total of 10 fillies go forward for the £185,000 Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes (3.55pm), run over just shy of a mile and a quarter on the final day of Glorious Goodwood, Saturday, August 4, 2012.

The entries are headed by John Gosden's Izzi Top, who hasn't met defeat in four starts since coming home third in last season's Investec Oaks and has recently bagged the Group One Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh on July 1.

Gosden, who has saddled five individual Group One winners already this season, could also be represented by The Fugue, owned by Lord Andrew Lloyd-Webber and his wife Madeleine.

The daughter of Dansili was an impressive four and a length winner of the Group Three Musidora Stakes at York in May before flashing home to finish an unlucky-looking third in the Investec Oaks at Epsom on June 1. She was last seen at Royal Ascot on June 21 when she finished six lengths behind Princess Highway in the Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes.

Simon Marsh, racing & bloodstock manager to Lord Lloyd-Webber, said: "The Fugue will run in the Markel Insurance Nassau Stakes providing the ground is in her favour - good or good to firm ground would be ideal.

"She has been doing very well since Royal Ascot and we have been very happy with her. I have been very happy with her progress this season and she is a lovely filly to have. When she gets her ground, she is a nice filly.

"She won the Musidora Stakes very easily and she has a lot of speed so I think dropping back to a mile and a quarter will be absolutely fine.

"I don't think the track will hold any fears for her. She handled York fine and she handled Epsom so I don't think Goodwood will be a problem."

Aidan O'Brien has three fillies going forward including Investec Oaks winner Was and Maybe, who enjoyed an unbeaten two-year-old campaign last season which culminated with a dominant display in the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes in August. French 1,000 Guineas second Up is also engaged.

Roger Varian could saddle last season's Group One Prix de l'Opera winner Nahrain, while Sir Henry Cecil, who has won the past three renewals with Midday, may bid for a fourth consecutive success with last season's Group One Falmouth Stakes winner Timepiece.

Sea Of Heartbreak, Lay Time and Clinical complete the entries.

A total of 98 horses go forward for the £100,000 Blue Square Bet Stewards' Cup, the famous handicap run over six furlongs on the final day of Glorious Goodwood, Saturday, August 4, 2012.

The horses going forward include David Barron's Waffle, who was runner-up in the Wokingham Handicap for a second time at Royal Ascot on June 23, while Irish-handler David Marnane could be represented by Britannia Handicap runner-up Jamesie.

Newmarket trainer James Fanshawe could saddle two representatives courtesy of the talented Mac's Power and Hallelujah, who finished third in the Group Three Summer Stakes at York on July 13.

Cape Classic is the only remaining entry for William Haggas, while the 'sprint king' Dandy Nicholls has nine entries going forward including Victoire De Lyphar. Jim Goldie could run Group One July Cup fifth Hawkeyethenoo, while Roger Charlton could saddle Mince and the promising Tioman Legend.

A maximum of 28 runners will go to post in the Blue Square Bet Stewards Cup, but for those who don't make the cut, some can run in the opening race on the card the Get Your Bet On At bluesq.com Stewards' Sprint Handicap (2.05pm).

The longest race on the card is the Toyo Tyres Performance Handicap (2.40pm, 31 entries), run over a mile and three quarters, while the Nat West Ahead For Business EBF Maiden (4.30pm) has attracted 35 entries. The Bet On Your Mobile At bluesq.com Nursery (5.05pm) has 21 entries and the final race of Glorious Goodwood 2012, is the QIPCO Future Champions Apprentice Handicap (5.40pm, 32 entries).
