Earlier Dermot Weld's Rock Critic won his hurdling debut in the first race.
Sunday's card has another Weld runner Train of Thought favourite at 5/2 for the Trappers Inn Handicap with 9 runners taking on the mile. Train of Thought won over hurdles on Day 1 and could be on the way to his first flat victory. However Mick Halford's Sure Reef won over the trip here earlier in the week and could be a big danger despite the rise in weight. Silver Shuffle and Top Man Michael come next in the market.
At Cork the Give Thanks over 2400m for the ladies has 9 runners and it's G3. Sapphire looks well suited here and is 15/8, Bible Belt 9/4 and Eternal Bounty 13/2.
