Friday, 10 August 2012: There's the G2 Prix Pomone and the G3 Prix Gontaut - Biron on Saturday and the G1 Jacques le Marois on Sunday.

The Pomone is over 2500m and has 9 3yo+ fillies contesting. On the PMU the expected price for Pirika is 4.0, John Hammond's globetrotter Sarah Lynx 4.25 and Dalkala 6.50.

The Gontaut-Biron is sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and is for the 4y+ over 2000m, with a field of 7. Maxios looks the go here and is 2.75, Sagramor 4.0 and we quite like Saga Dream on 6.0.

Sunday's Prix Haras Fresnay-le-Buffard Jacques Le Marois is G1 over 1600m. Excelebration is quoted just ahead of Moonlight Cloud, but that may well change. Frankie Dettori has the ride on Elusive Kate who is on 4.50, while William Buick has elected to ride Fallen For You who is around 6.0. Should be a great race and we are with Moonlight Cloud who is in a great bit of form at present.
