Friday, 17 August 2012: On Saturday the G3 Prix Calvados is over 1400m for the 2yo fillies over 1400m with a number of English raiders crossing the sea.
Morning Frost is around 3.25 on the pari-mutual, with Mark Johnston's Discernable on 3.75 and Wedge Trust 4.25 being the main challengers.
On Sunday the G1 Prix Morny is for 2yo over 1200m with 12 to run. Reckless Abandon is in great form at the moment, with an interesting O'Brien runner in Parliament Square, and Pearl Flute who was unlucky last outing.
The G2 Prix Kergolay sees the return of Americain to a race he won two years ago before winning the Melbourne Cup and this run should be an indication of his future plans. The race is over 3000m, and Brigantin and Vadamar both enjoy this trip.
The G1 Prix Jean Romanet is for f&m 4y+ over 2000m and sees the reappearance of Snow Fairy. She will be up against a couple of nice fillies in Izzi Top and Giofra is improving with every race.
