Rising Romance is set to return in the Group 1 Memise Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.

Having transferred from the Donna Logan stable to David Hayes & Tom Dabernig, the Group 1 winning mare is eyeing off a big spring campaign having run second in last years Caulfield Cup.

The former New Zealand galloper will be ridden by Michael Rodd who is set to return from Singapore to take the ride for the first time.

Rising Romance has been nominated for the three big features of the spring and was last seen when running second in the Group 3 Epona Stakes at Rosehill where she succumbed to a bruised heel.

The five-year-old mare has won five of her 18 starts, including the Group 1 Australian Oaks, placing a further seven times.
