A number of key jump-outs have been held down the Flemington straight on Friday morning.
Jump-outs were held at Flemington on Friday morning where a number of runners were put through their paces who have a view to either the Darley Classic or Coolmore Stud Stakes down the famed Straight Six.
Darley Classic favourite Chautauqua won his 800m jump-out as did Scissor Kick.
The Team Hawkes-trained Chautauqua won his jump-out comfortably in a time of 47.72 seconds while posting a final 400m of 22.06.
The Paul Messara-trained Scissor Kick was sporting blinkers in his hit-out which he will again be equipped with for the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes on November 1.
He won the jump-out ahead of other Coolmore Stud Stakes hopefuls such as Sultry Feeling, Brazen Beau and Earthquake.
The Gerald Ryan-trained Rubick also had a jump-out, running his final 400m in a time of 23.02 seconds.
