The Bart and James Cummings stable have informed Racing Victoria they will no longer have a full time Flemington operation.

The Bart and James Cummings partnership yesterday told the VRC they would no longer have a full time operation at the course, instead electing to have boxes which would only be used over carnival time.

Bart Cummings has had a Flemington base since 1968 with Reg Fleming the Foreman of the operation for nearly two decades.

The legendary Saintly Place was sold by the partnership last year with the team moving their operation on course.
