Quite simply it is an electronic record and notification system of horses you want to follow.
Your Black Book allows you to keep track of a horse's runs anywhere around Australia for a period of six weeks.
By entering a horse into your Black Book you will receive an e-mail notification usually two days before the horse is due to race,
with vital details such as the Course, Race Time, Trainer, Barrier Position and Horse Number.
Utilising state-of-the-art interactive technology, the Racing and Sports Black Book has a host of "punter friendly" options, including
Add Entry. Add a horse and a comment about the horse in your Black Book.
Edit Entry. Change a horse's name or comment at a later date.
List Entries. View a list of horses in your Black Book. This list is also suitable for printing.
Update Entry. A facility to renew the date your horse was entered in the Black Book. This extends its listing for a further six weeks.
Delete Entry. Allows a horse to be deleted from your Black Book.
E-mail My Black Book. Allows you to send the list of horses in your Black Book to the e-mail address you entered when you created your account.
Anyone can get a Black Book. All you need to do is create a AAP and Racing and Sports Profile.
Once you have created a Profile you simply go to the login screen and enter your username and password and you will have access to the Blackbook services and more. It's as easy as that.
