Message: Just saw this on the herald. Asking the Dogs FANS to sign a code of conduct???? HellO? I think they might want to get their players to pull their heads (and other parts) in first before they will get anybody to sign this. Reeks of head in the sand management. Noad is obviously going to ignore the problem at the Bulldogs and the players will continue to act like scumbags. They've already lost their partly as a result of the teams behaviour. They should try getting them to set some kind of standard for the fans first. Spend some money on security and weed out the troublemakers. You will only offend some of the innocent with this rubbish.
Players in many sports are asked to abide by them, now fans of the Bulldogs National Rugby League club are being asked to sign a code of conduct.
Nearly 18,000 copies have been distributed as part of the club's plan to stop ratbag elements sullying the club's image, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The code of conduct, part of the 2005 supporters package, in part urges fans to "deliver an enjoyable and non-threatening experience at out home games; exhibit dignity, pride and poise - characteristics of the club - and celebrate in victory and commiserate in defeat".
Bulldogs boss Malcolm Noad said the club wanted to put something in writing so fans would know what was expected of them.
"The ratbags may not sign but our fans are becoming fed up with a small element of idi0ts," Noad told the newspaper.

Message: Cornholio there have been a few bashings of late of supporters of other teams whilst at Bulldogs games! A North Qld supporter was bashed in front of his wife and kids a few weeks ago. The whole club is a disgrace and a piece of paper will have just as much influence as AVO's do against domestic violence offenders!

Message: Camel, that post was pathetic.
I live in Bankstown, yeh I'm of middle eastern background, which I assume is what you meant about where 'we' are originally from, but I consider myself Australian and probably more so in this day and age then a redneck like yourself.
It's statements like yours from people like you that the dogs board is talking about I believe. You say you had an incident with 'them' last week, going by this thread it's probable that it was your fault!
Take no notice of Camel - just do what I've done and place a block on him . He is the most racist arrogant SOB on this site and is the only poster that I have ever placed a block on.
Message: of course its stupid oli. Clowns have a whinge at just about anything and yes other races do exactly the same thing. All that is irrelevant though because i didnt even mention race in my post.
I am aware of the violent fans, which are a small minority of troublemakers. I've seen and encountered them before. They particularly hate us Parra supporters. My point is that the club has let it's behavioural standards slip so much, it's bit rich for them to ask their supporters to behave better. That club has gone so far downhill off the field in recent years that poor old Bullfrog would be rolling in his grave. He wouldn't have stood for it.
