Message: Goldtown(NSW) returned to racing with a solid hit out over 1400m at Randwick today.
He finished well over the concluding stages but his condition gave out over the final 50m and he battled away into 4th place.
This imposingly built fellow will strip fitter for that run and I expect him to be charging home and winning when he steps up to a more suitable distance (1600m or further) in the future.

Message: I agree with that Muirfield but why use Primus as an example as a top class miler - the boom on that horse is getting out of control.
Of O'Sheas horses the one to follow is Racing To Win, hung in over the last 100m yesterday which tells me it was short of 100% and still got close to Flying Pegasus and finished in front of a number of very smart horses.

Message: Karnage,
I used Primus as he's about the only definite runner in the race - and deserves favouritism (if he runs in the Aust Guineas and doesn't back up the race will be devoid of much talent). He hasn't done much wrong and loves headquarters.
As for RTW. I thought he looked light (as opposed to big in condition with plenty of improvement) and ran accordingly against opposition he should have thrashed (apart from the winner most were stayers resuming or simply poor horses).
I will be leaving him alone (and hoping that he doesn't pull a Collate on me).

Message: Goldtown had an easy kill in a Class 2 at Gosford today.
Started a short-priced favourite ($1.60) but the multiples paid well, particularly the R/D which paid 160/1 on the Victorian tote thanks to an $87 winner in the previous race ridden by - surprise surprise! - a female jockey.
