Message: Looks a smart sprinter/miler starting its campaign at MV. Previously with the Written Bloodstock, and now raced with the Potato King, Nick Moraitis.
Has been beating lower class horses in its only 3 starts, but if anyone watches its runs, it should make the next step to stakes class easily...(touch wood)
Message: It's got to get past The Mooksta first. Had the first leg of the quaddie one out so hoping for some rough results in the last 3 races, and the mighty Mooksta would be a nice start ;-)
Was That You has been extremely promising though in its first 3 starts, but it's another step up today. I hope he makes the step, but preferably not in this race.

Message: Lining up on the weekend in Adelaide in Manihi Classic. Should run better if the track is dry. Just looked as though it wasn't as explosive at MV on the slow going. Anyway, we'll see on Saturday.

Message: Was That You has been entered for the Galaxy so had better win this. He has to step up a notch, as Hareeba said, but after a year off there would be a fair chance he'd strip fitter. Amyjay is one of those horses that will always find bad luck and has been aided twice in her last two efforts, however impressive they looked, by a swoopers bias out wide. I like Was That You, from Oahu, and Maduro will improve out of sight with the rail back to true

Message: Running at Caulfield tomorrow in Le Pine Cup over 1000m. Eager to see how it goes.. Looks a chance, but won't be backing unless it pays more than $10. Main danger is Classiconi who everybody knows is very capable. Other chances are Poet's Voice and Zip Zip...
