Snake,

Reckon DIVINE MADONNA looks to be very good value in the Robert Sangster at Morphetville tomorrow. Currently showing $17, which in my opinion is huge overs...

I'm having a place bet on Ultra Star at WF and I like Montechoro e/w at Sandown R7. His last two wins were very impressive and the horse he beat last start, Beaucappa, has some sort of form around Biscayne Bay and Tesbury Jack. The class of the last race he won is suspect but he won it with ease and this race isn't too hard. If the track is rain-affected then no bet.

Not sure how desperate you are but I have one if you are prepared to "go wide".

Champion System is not a bad stayer racing at Warwick Farm tomorrow over 1600m. He has had 2 runs back and has come last both times. In my defence however, he ran one of his best ever races as a top weight at Warwick farm earlier on in his career.

Also he has D Beasley on top which could help. i have no inside knowledge for this tip and it may well run last again, but I'm hoping that it will do a bit better than that.

Hey Torp,

I got Open Cut at 7/1. That Tassie form looked ok for this and her start b4 that also was good form against Con's Army and Kats Klause. Beadman and McDonald looked a good combo too. Good tip, mate. Hope the snakeman got on.

For what it's worth, D. Dunn's ride on Divine Madonna will surely not go down as one of his finest... Checked both at the 600 and the 200, would DEFINITELY have run second, but probably wouldn't have reeled in the winner.

Flew home, all too late. Familiar story.

Apologies for the tip.

Shockdog.

Thanks for the tip on Open Cut,had avery nice pick-up on it, which more than covered all the other bets. I agree with comments about the ride on Divine Madonna, wasn't very impressive.

Don't lose heart Mr Barnard. Back Champion System for the Sydney Cup. The further they run the better he gets. He would have won the race last year if he didn't go lame the week leading up to it.
