Now I know that Falvelon hasn't won for a while but he is extremely well placed here at WFA in brisbane.

I honestly can't believe that they are offering 7/4 in pre-post fixed odds.

He has just won a barrier trial by 10L.

His stats read:
Career:34-14-7-6 $3,828,755
Dist:15-5-3-3
Track:6-4-1-1
T/D:2-1-1-0
First-up:11-5-2-1

...and he can run on all surfaces.

I'll be backing him plus doing him FD/FD hoping for a couple of roughies running places.

the trial had only 3 runners so I would take that with a big grain of salt.

I'd take the $ 2.75 offered by TabCorp and have an exacta with Calaway Gal and Make Mine Magic and trifecta/first four for 3rd/4th places with the field.

If Falvelon does not win this I would not back him in any other QLD race this season !!

A few roughies to consider now that it is wet are Diamond Dane-1200-1350 best distance range now and wet tracks are his go. Fresh
is also a bonus. Osca Warrior- excels in the wet and will be up on the pace. He is also fresh which suits. King Lotto-always excels with a bit of give in the ground and has won a barrier trial. Well drawn.

Calaway Gal? You must have missed her last run!

Falvelon will smash Diamond Dane.

Well he's drifted out to 2/1 on fixed odds with support for Tit for Tat (into 5/2).

Very interesting, not sure whether thats based on the weather/continued deterioration of the track.

Don't know about that but gee it sure is good for getting the creases out of one's business shirts. Socks and underpants don't matter so much - unless you're going out in public I suppose?

The champ is back!

What a win.

Can't wait for the return bout with Yell.

Looks like the race of the Brissy carnival.

On his home turf I think Falvelon can turn the tables.

Well, ended up gettin 9/4 care of Centrebet (actually spewin cos it drifted another 5c to $3.30. But I shouldn't complain.

The trifecta won a little bit aswell...

What an explosive win, had too much class on these, especially with Make Mine Magic being under-cooked.

Yell is certainly going to give anything in Brisbane a shake. It would make things interesting for HOTY if Yell could pinch a couple of Group 1 races in Brisbane.
