Could it be that the dispute is finally over.It would be nice to watch races on a TV screen instead of a tiny portal via bigpond.Sounds like there will still be two channels to watch and switch between but it is better than what we have at the moment.I will belive it though when I actually see it.I can only hope that austar does not go up by some ridiculous amount due to the inclusion of TVN.
Is there any other info going around about this

Austar charge too much, few of us probably would not be bothered, however bad the situation has been.

Realised I spent too much time before watching the racing. I could easily wait until the spring.

We originally subscribed to Austar, mainly because of the racing and other sport. Been twelve months with no Sydney or Victorian racing, should be entitled to the next 12 months racing for gratis.

Pigs all saddled and ready to fly..............

"Whats in it for sky"

Tabcorp would be expecting increased turnover from country punters I would have thought...

Alcatraz,

The cost of the extra TVN channel is $12 year, $1 PER MONTH.

And you expect Austar to give you 12 months free when it wasnt their fault in the first place. It was Tabcorp's

Unbelievable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how could anyone say it was tabcorps fault. sky (tabcorp) and austar were found on 3 separate occasions to have a legally valid agreement.
i don't know if i'd subscribe given the uncertainty that is still around. pbl deal not in stone, first and last rights issue still not decided however a 2 week free trial seems reasonable although i doubt if tvn can afford to do that.
