Message: The most controversial incident during the Broncos week of celebrations was at the Caxton Hotel late one night when Sam Thaiday briefly removed his shoes. When a security officer advised Sam of the OH & S requirements of the venue, he apologised and promptly put his shoes back on.
Given the media's obsession with exposing every indiscretion of every athlete, I'd like to take a moment to congratulate the team on their behaviour.
I was thinking about the Mole when he was in his mid-twenties. I was thinking about what would happen if I hand-picked 20 of my best mates from that time and went out for a week. I was thinking about what would happen if the 20 of us had been off the drink for 6 weeks prior. I was thinking about what would happen if the 20 of us had a legitimate reason to celebrate. I was thinking about what would happen if people were shouting us drinks everywhere we went.
Mole might have found himself in a spot of bother I reckon.
Message: Sounds like if it was a mid-twenties Mole instead of Sam Thaiday who was asked to put his shoes back on, mid-twenties Mole may not have been able to find his feet.
