Thought we'd have a try and get the quaddie on Ascot today. Lets see who can get it with the least number of combinations.

I'm going 1/5/3,9,10,11,14/2,4-that is 10 combinations. All welcome to try.

The Cox Stakes looks the hardest to my eye.

I’ll have a stab at the card and see how we go. Some good betting races, some not so.

R1 – Dr Bella
R2 – Innovation
R3 – Silver Deck
R4 – Star Risca
R5 – West River Charley
R6 – Hi On Love
R7 – Marasco
R8 – Zoometric
R9 – Tiger Mite

Best value probably comes from Zoometric as stated earlier, quite partial also to the chances of Hi On Love and West River Charley as well. Not sure what value Tiger Mite and Star Risca will be, but if they’re not too short, they’re in my sights.

If I was going to have a stab at the quaddie :

Leg 1 : 1, 2
Leg 2 : 5
Leg 3 : 4, 1, 10, 11
Leg 4 : 5

No Quaddie Hitch?

I concede a chance to Zoometric but couldnt decided to stay with only 5 chances.

Scratching in the last, so I'll change my numbers to 1/5/3,9,10,11,14/2,5-still 10 combinations.

I like Zoometric in the Cox Stakes.

He was the fastest home in the Fruit n Veg despite having to go very wide around them on the bend. On top of that, his previous start was a win over all those involved in the Towtown Cup finish. Drawn well, and runs the trip, he’ll be hard to beat and $10 currently (I took $11) is good shopping.

Black Tom hardest to beat, but the barrier draw does him no favours. Will get back and rocket home to produce a Cup trial that confirms his favouritism. (Zoometric into Black Tom in the Cup is not a bad way, in my opinion).
