hi guys i'm having some quality throughbred poker cards made up by a guy i know and i need your help.

each card relates to a horse

It has to be a card and you don't have a 1 or 12, its other saddlecloths, when it won.

Go each Number to a Melb Cup winner, eg 3 Jeune not the J. Leave the Letters to other champions that are not taken by the Numbers (Melb Cup winners)

J= Carbine (stable name was Old Jack)

The numbers could be any of your favourites, or as Khrapper stated, the number carried by the horse to win Australia's great race.

Use a bit of thought, I know it may be hard for some.

Why have A as Phar Lap for example. The letter A has nothing to do with Phar Lap. You would have A as Amounis etc.

Maybe the A in Phar Lap is meant to indicate Phar Lap is the ace, was an ace, is useful at many distances ie top of the pack straight to the ace, useful because pocket aces are a strong hand, stop me before I hurt myself.

Gee I reckon all in, on Phar Lap.

Use the numbers as Cox Plate winners from 1992- 2000 (2 - 10) You have a full deck of champions just there.

The top cards (A)Phar Lap, (K)Kingston Town, (Q)Tulloch, (J)Manikato

Khaptingly, the Ace is generally the highest ranked card in the deck and as such Phar Lap is a pretty reasonable suggestion.
