Speed Gifted - Cups. Not sure of a kick off but I reckon he might have a light lead up.

Hot Danish - Main aim is the 1600m Group 1 mares' race on Derby Day.

Madame Pedrille - don't know where she's racing next but she trialled last week and there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I saw.

Trusting - Golden Rose I think

Look them up on the RVL website and you can see if they have had an official trial, are nominated for an official trial or are nominated for a race soon.

Tubular Bells ran 2nd in a trial last week at Cranbourne over 1550m.

He is entered for both major Spring Cups. I think he'll find it hard to measure up to in the big one's but hopefully he can have an injury free campaign. I'd target him at races like the Benalla Cup or Bendigo/Ballarat Cups.

Speed Gifted due to reappear soon. Lee is thinking of bringing him to Sydney for the Metrop.

Hot Danish is due to resume soon - think she is heading to Melbourne.

Tony Noonan was on 927 this morning and said that Ortensia is still in Qld (in work) and won't be returning to Victoria until the end of the month.

So don't expect to see her race until September.

He didn't mention anything about spring goals but the Group 1 mares' race at Flem would surely be her main aim as well.

I can help with Work The Room.

He's had a couple of setbacks with his feet and has had other little problems which have set him back about a month.

Colin Little is dead keen to run him because he reckons he'll be an awesome horse in the autumn and needs him racing in the spring to educate him and get his rating up high enough to run in good races.

Hotel Of The Stars looked outstanding winning a barrier trial at Randwick last Friday, not sure of the quality of the opposition though.

thanks alcimedes. Was a really honest horse at the begginning of his career I can't help but think injury has robbed him of a chance at higher glory

Spot on with work The Room. as some of you may know, I am one of the owners. he has lost a bit of time with ringworm and feet problems. Didnt trial at Cranbourne and wont trial next week. he did have a good gallop yetserday and ran a slashing time.....only because he is very good and not because he is fit.

I'm not sure if it was you Jee, but I heard after Our Lukas won the Ipswich Cup the owner was interviewed regarding his win and was asked if he had anything else in the stable worth following?

His reply was that Work The Room is another one of his horses and is working beautifully at the moment and will be one to follow when resuming.

I therefore blackbooked him but haven't done the form on this race.

Will have a look later on and hope odds aren't too short if any chance.

Cheers,
MM
