Wallabies played a great match - the All Blicks proved more brawn than skill at crunch time BUT England was MIGHTY - they'll prove too tough for Australia. Yes Wilkinson scored all the points but so what nothing wrong with that.

England dominated possession and closed France down and put themselves in a position for the sensational kicker to do his stuff.
Australia will be sorted out next weekend and it will be a bit of payback also for gloating over scoring against poor old Namibia. I never gloat whenever I win an argument against Speeds and co. - I just go "ho hum why does he bother".

And geez aren't we sick of the commentators with "AND HERE'S SAILOR!" - they said it so many times on Saturday yet Sailor did absolutely zilch except for one tackle. Tuquiri on the other hand has been sensational - he outbrawns and outskills Sailor from what I've seen.

I suspect this game will be a game of position vs possession.

England kick there way to good field position but it is only if the other team makes mistakes or handling errors that England can capitalise. France did them this favour on Sunday.

Wallabies will run the ball back and try and dominate possession with minimal mistakes in attempt to starve England of the ball and tire the big England pack.

If this is the strategy of the game it will be decided on the number of Australian errors on the night.

Betting: I think Aust will be under?s given the large numbers and weight of money with the England supporters.

Ozzi ozzi ozzi!We beat England at nearly every sport-we are too good for them.Cricket-no contest- test or one dayers.Tennis-way too classy for decades.Swimming -we thrash them.Rugby League -run circles around them. And even their beloved soccer -we left them in tears.Hockey-netball etc etc same story. Then Choisir goes over and beats their best sprinters giving them all weight-Poms were crying in their warm beer.We have better looking women-better climate-better food- better beaches -and better beer.Whats left?Oh yeah -they have a Rugby team-for Poms they are amazingly good- they have spent some 60Million pounds sterling trying to buy the Cup and restore some semblance of respect and drown out some of the bucketloads of embarrassment-thats why the Poms are cheering so loud-its a whole new experience for most of them- won't it be sweet for the green and gold to win the Cup from under their noses-I took the overs at 8.00-sweet-just do it boys!

On the contrary pinky it is which site will you be terrorising during that week.

I'm pretty confident of an aussie victory providing they can put wilkinson out in the first minute. LOL

Seriously it will be a close game but i just think the aussies can keep england far enough away from the posts so jonny cant get a shot.

What most people haven't noticed is that in their last two games the opposition goalkicker has had an absolute shocker & that shouldn't be the case with Flately. In both games those kickers could have put a decent lead on the Poms in the first half & changed the compexion of the games completely.
The poms are not going as well as many of you seem to think. If the Welsh had kept their composure (which the Wallabies will) they would have beaten them & they were not much better than France, who went like Z graders on Sunday.

As a true lover of Australia and a hater of Union, I hope England do win - they way we won't have to put up with weeks of hype, replays and ticker tape parades for a victory in a rubbish game that probably 10% of the population are interested in!!

(That and the fact I got England at $2.90 on Sunday morning!!)

Bro PJ Eddie Jones will have another trick up his sleeve for the Poms although it will be hard to beat the lycra boys in white.

My tip is that the loose men will spoil, spoil, spoil around the rucks to make it exceptionally difficult for Jonny to get clean ball and steady for the drop goal.

Our forwards will pummel the ageing English pack at every opportunity.

They'll wish Captain Cook never set eyes on this place.

Another ploy will be NOT to give away penalities.

Mortlock will dazzzle in attack and my tip is that Wendall will pull out the big one.

And Bro PJ, I love the blokes in the front row who have their IQ rating on their jerseys.

u make a good point but i can't support useless poms who play negative football.

if Australia adopted negative tactics they would get bagged by aussies but the poms are so desperate for a win of any kind they'll take a win without scoring a try in either the semi or the final.

They would if they couldn't care less about the outcome!

I really don't give a rats about rugger and won't count it as a sporting victory by England over Australia, more like England beating a combined NSW/Qld team in a kicking contest.

You would NEVER catch me betting on them in the Ashes!

How can anyone seriously tip the Poms in any sporting contest against us Aussies? The one sport that they should be able to beat us in is soccer, but they can't even do that. Prince Harry will be ducking from more than the media come Saturday night (if he's got the balls to show up!).

Onya and OF, if you look at the Avatar, PJ is my Bro and he's one of the best posters God has ever shovelled guts into.

Now to serious stuff...there should be a rule introduced for Saturday's final that forbids players holding hands ...especially with yourself.

That should put Jonny off his game.

LOL
