Message: The great Pinkline Jones CBE comes into the third and what looks likely to be the final round with a 2-0 lead over the floundering Hon-dope. For those of you who don't know the background, here's what Hon-dope has claimed:
QUOTE
I could just say "select horse number 3 in every race all across Australia" and I would still finish in front him
UNQUOTE
Hon-dope gets the next sequential runner when his horse is scratched. Otherwise it's just his not particularly successful Number 3 strategy.
Hawkesbury and Gold Coast replace the normal City meetings in their respective regions. Again, Hon-dope will whinge about how he's restricted to Number 3 when in fact he didn't have the guts to participate in an 'unrestricted' challenge. Expect Hondo to provide tips from Clarrie and Bunger and possibly their friends as well, as a faux mitigation move. We share seven tips today; there will be no excuses for Hon-dope even though he may risibly complain about our shared selections when he loses.

Message: Great up here in Broome, Pinhead. What a guy, just keeps on giving.
We met up with some punters last night and told them just what a clown you were and how we managed to get a free holiday. You didn't let us down today either. Beaten favourites, one at twos on.
Looks like you lost again, even though you stole seven of my horses. Good old Bunger, he beat you too.
Best of all, you little cheat, you made a very significant blue. The scratching in Melbourne that you selected had shades of Puddinghead all over it. Obviously your hopeless selections don't come from you. The tips you plagiarised had a scratching that you forgot to check, or are you just too stupid that you didn't notice.
Gladys said to say hello and thanks for today. You have now amassed a huge fan club up here that have had a tremendous laugh at your stupidity.

Message: Series Leader: Pinkline Jones CBE 2-1
The tragic Hon-dope, has had a rare win today with his Number 3 Strategy toppling the desperately unlucky champion Pinkline Jones CBE. Jones CBE got too far back this afternoon but closed strongly and should be back on top and closing out the Series next weekend.
It has been a big weekend for Hon-dope. He’s on a luxurious holiday on the other side of the country with a woman called Gladys. So happens that Gladys has five daughters but Hon-dope doesn’t seem to mind, as he unscrews another bottle of olive oil.

Message: Hon-dope aka The Crisco Kid,
Really does lead an enriching lifestyle this bundle of charm.
He is incorrect yet again. Hitensile of course wasn't meaning that I could have gone for 3 in every race. He was implying a lesser sporting person (such as Hon-dope) could have stuck with the 3 for the main and just tweaked a few other tips to seal the job.

Message: Beansy Beansy,
Plays the peanut so well. Keep up the good work. Patently wrong as per usual, considering the facts show that I am a multiple Series-winning tipping champion aside from my prominent position in the Groupies Comp and my National Treasure status. Back to the Soup Kitchen you go unemployable gnome.

Message: No Glad Wrap. There was never any stipulation that Hon-dope had exclusive rights to Number 3. All that he claimed was that if he selected Number 3's he could beat me. So we're testing that theory in a best of five format. It's all over next week deary :)

Message: First you have a competition with a made up person, your alias Puddinghead, who only tips scratchings and horses like Metallurgical in a Group one, then you bring on a challenge and use the other person's selection, the basis of what the whole challenge was about. In any event, it is hysterical watching a loudmouth like yourself floundering around with beaten short priced favourites and then trying to get out by selecting Hondo, tips. You g.l.c.
