Message: Can someone please shine some light on why the last at Wodonga yesterday was abandoned? I had the first leg of the extra double and then I saw interim results with a $60 pop winning. This morning's paper shows the race is abandoned and I've jagged a $4.30 win for any horse in the second leg?

Message: Like Beatles said the false alarm system had a glitch and the lights activated. Two horses missed the start including V.Duric's horse. He saw the lights and instructed other jockeys that the light's have gone off.they looked and proceded to pull their horses up.

Message: According to the Herald Sun newspaper and national nine's Melbourne news, the false start light went on about 200m from the start gates. The false start siren also sounded. Investigations said it was all an accident but one jockey yelled to another who told another and five of the nine starers pulled their horses up to save energy in case there was a restart - there wasn't because it was the last race and too dark although officials did say that had it been an earlier race, they would have just started it again. Hope that helps.
