Message: Arguably the most important event in racing since the introduction of off course Totes is in play at present. We are looking at an amalgamation of 100% of the TAB pools in Australia if UNITAB is purchased by TABCORP. Looked good to me at first - bigger pools etc. but then I read where a major UNITAB shareholder and alleged racing man stated that it is more important to look after the frigging SHAREHOLDERS of the TABs than the Race Clubs, Punters, Horses, Jockeys, etc etc. GREAT, most of the shareholders in the TABs would NOT know one end of a horse or dog from the other or even CARE. The governments that sold off OUR TABs to private enterprise should be rounded up and -dealt with, or whatever. The TABS were a money machine with NO risk and no need for private investment and should never, never, have been sold just so societys parasites can benefit without a care or interest, apart from squeezing maximum profits from this ICON of Australia.

I assume you are intimating that "society's parasites" are shareholders and are not important.
You shouldn't speak ill of yourself. You probably own Tabcorp and a lot of other shares in your superfund. Hopefully your retirement will include more steak than mince due to the performance of shares in your super fund.
