Message: This could be a very interesting thread. I'd like to see the challenge over 20 bets just to curb any flukey runs (good or bad). The challenge should really take a couple of months if the punter is being serious about how selective he is going to be with these odds-on pops.
I'd like to give it a go but Jordmike is on the board so I'm happy to watch the results. For the record, I think a good punter could make a profit betting selective odds-on horses.

Message: I agree with Khapper, odds on punting is not good for your long term banking health.
It's very rare that an odds on punter is value and when you do get value its not worth chasing anyway. I personally am not interested in 30c or 40c of value and as the crazy one points its a staking issue as well - the majority of punters bet more on odds on runners and therefor have more to lose.
Having said that, I'm going to take up your challenge crazy man :)
If I show a profit (which I doubt) then you have to give the forum 10 PRE RACE tips.

I nominate Geelong to win at least 19 or twenty home and away games and finals next year on the way to their second consecutive AFL Premiership. They will start very short in every game.

Message: Khap,
no wonder you think someone taking odds on cannot win.
Khap conditions 1-must be on Vic Tab
2- Must be horse or dogs
3- Must be in a field bigger than 5
4- Must be the same size bet each time
You are limiting your chances by a heck of a percentage with all of these conditions, Khap I like laughing at your the "self righteouness" you potray in your posts, but the garbage you are peddling here only illustrates your punting limitations.
Simple question khap, this is not a hypothetical, did i recieve value when i gave RDP out as a good bet on Arc Day when he saluted at 4/5 (field was bigger than 5).

Message: I notice no one coming forward to name at least 10 Odds-On selections in a set of at least 10.
Of course it has to be level stakes, because you get to chose your own hot pots over a period of time, you name your tips, you name when, what more do you want. Fancy trying to manipulate the stake on each, what a joke.
No one has got past 3 Odds-On tips yet before chucking it in. I prove my point herein. You are all as weak as pizz. No wonder Wortel is laughing, so am I.

Message: Khap,
so are you saying you can win betting odds on (dogs, horses, fields larger than 5)?. Mate the odds where in your favour, if it was easy everyone would do it, weak as pizz mate.

Message: Don't be silly Rex, we are not going to fall for your rules. Anyone could win on anything at any odds with that loose hypothetical betting scheme.
For example you could have 3 $1 bets then start betting in $100's or then $500's or then $1000's till you get one winner in say the first 7 and then back off to $1 bets to get to a set of 10 bets.
I am not falling for it.
In fact forget the challenge, you are too into pretending. The truth is, the only challenge you should be going for is to do your best for yourself. So should every punter, its not a contest against another, but to do the best for yourself.
One mans $10 is another mans $1000 it is all relative to the individual.
