Message: Welcome to the spring super stable competition. I have had trouble getting this posted but it will be in full swing later this week.
Please register your interest on this thread so I can establish the necessary forms and start thinking about a stable of seven horses that you wish to represent you this spring.
You will be asked to purchase these horses from a starting bank of $700 000 and then prizemoney won in group races will be added to your bank.
Full details soon but please register ASAP. Entries will lose on Friday 1st August.

I think Ron makes a valid point and it is delaying my entry, being that for example Lonhro & Stayers will probably only have had one run when first substitution time is available and I would be btter off taking a team full of three year old's till then .. Thus your response to Ron will impact my judgement..
I think you should be credited back 50% of the horse you are substituting but pay a 25% premium at first substitution and 50% at second, this should even the field..
Anybody else got suggestion's...

Message: Thanks for the suggestion but I think the admin won't be as much as everyone is saying. Part of the reason behind running the comp is to give myself a task that will help me develop my computer skills on Excel and Access.
I intend compiling a list of horses who have been selected, entering the prizemoney won each week then the computer (touch wood) is going to do the rest if I have written all my macros correctly.
The prices are my HOTY points from last season x $10000. I simply intend to add this seasons points under the same formula to increase the prices to a max of $250000.
So you may be able to get Mummify for the same price in October if he does not run a group place until then.
The Golden Rose replaces the Peter Pan so I am assuming G2 status.

Message: shu, perhaps it would be better if people could only change two horses at a time, unless horses are injured and out for the season. people should be rewarded for early calls
