Message: Please post your interest in a comp chiefly aimed at Queensland races but "sometimes if not often" backed by the best metro meeting in another state.
It may be all too much while the current comp is in progress, but I want to assess interest before I in turn assess my available time over that period.
There may need to be 12 selections weekly when possible, to try and finish comp in the May to early July period.
If I can find all the results from previous comps, a more complete CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP ladder will be published. The problem I have with the CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP is that it allows mediocre performers - such as myself - who have competed in all TCC comps - to figure prominently.
Maybe I can add a weighting factor for those who have not participated in all comps but mostly finish in the top 20 or so. Players could be credited with points which match their average performance to date. I believe this is the 7th comp, so a minimum of say 4 comps, would need to apply before weighting factor is applied.
The aim would be to conduct a CENTURY CLUB SUPREME CHAMPION comp with only the top 10 or maybe 15 able to compete.
The timing of the CENTURY CLUB SUPREME CHAMPION comp would be critical so that it does not run concurrently with a spring TCC comp. I would lean towards a mid August comp that is timed to finish on or before Epsom day. This would give around 9 or 10 race days with up to 12 selections each day.

Message: As one of the mediocre performers who is high on the club championship by participating in all CC's I would like to play in the winter comp.
Might I suggest for the spring comp (and please tell me to butt out if treading on your toes) a comp that is timed to finish in Melbourne Cup week would be ideal with say 8 tips each week one the Sydney spring finishes.
Great to hear that TCC will continue.
And to anyone else out there interested a reminder that Spring Super Stable will be back mid July.
