Message: With winter racing well and truly upon us, and the forum already being clogged with enough Frankel/SYT threads to last a lifetime, thought I would try something a little different.
Obviously everyone rates themself somewhat as a tipster; otherwise we wouldn't be on here. But if you had to entrust say $1000 worth of tips over a 12 month period to another forum member, who would you choose? Who do you think would provide you with the maximum return at the end of the year? Someone like Racing Carrot, who can provide long range winners of big races at inflated odds? Quez, who looks for the big kill through multis/exotics? One of the comp stalwarts like Todman/Lam?
You can choose up to 3 forum members, but obviously cannot choose yourself.
Will tally the results at the end and see who the forum rates as our best tipsters.
For me:
Racing Carrot for the long range forecasts, Vadim for a regular flow of winners, and The Mad Kiwi Punter for the NZ scene.
Honourable mention to Patsy (yes Patsy...)When he does tip one on here they usually go alright.

"I'm currently running at a 100% strike rate for my tipping over the last two weeks. All documented and ratified on this site too. A lot less work involved as well and if I sit on that result for the rest of the year I reckon I'll show just as good a profit as you on your little webcam YouTube stroke-a-thon"

Message: I wouldn't even trust myself after having Lion Tamer for the Spring Champion and Scarlett lady for the Qld Derby.
But of course I'm still looking for that next long range winner for the spring. At this stage I'm hoping Rebel Soldier runs much faster now that he's lost some weight between his legs.
Don't really follow the tipping comps but Mad Kiwi always seems to know his stuff.
