Message: Some very ordinary non formline runs in Sydney made things difficult. Breathtaking double strike in Melbourne. Discerning Pinkline Jones Inc. would have abandoned the Brisbane hackers by Race 4. Royal Commission warranted there. Unlucky in Adelaide and nice work Perth.
Sin Bin: Foxwedge, Silent Achiever – milk drinkers both.

Message: What an achievement by Pinhead Jones this week.Just have a look at the abysmal selections throughout mainland Australia and ponder the question, "why"? Why would anyone with absolutely no knowledge of racing wish to promote their own stupidity by listing their meritless selections on a weekly basis for all to see?
The jewel in the crown for this dunderhead had to be Sydney. Just take a look at that train wreck. Five short priced favourites nominated, one saluted at $1.40. The other four included three odds on chances, two of which did not run a place. His other odds on selection ran second and his other favourite did not run a place.
Turn to Doomben and Morphettville, not a single winner out of sixteen attempts. Ascot produced two winers, one at $2.60 and one at $2.40, he must have been up all night figuring out those two selections.
The only success in the whole day came when Playwright won in Melbourne.
I know I have been guilty in the past of calling Pinhead Jones a plagiarist, but I concede I was wrong. No one could be that dopey to select those tips for him to then copy, this work is all his.
As the great Pinhead says, "splendidly consistent and closing in on more glorious days", yeah right, for the bookmaker lucky enough to have his business.
