Message: I used to be a fanatic supporter of NSW...this year i really couldnt care. Its the same reason I cant watch the roosters play on channel 9...Gus Gould. After all the Gasnier rubbish last week, Gus found he wasn't in the headlines enough so he comes out and says that hes quitting. Here's a tip Gus: Nobody cares! Origin coaches are pointless anyway...Fatty Vautin proved that. Coaches at this level need only be motivators, nothing more.

Pies v Kangaroos : Pies by 17 points Dons v Dockers: Essendon by 12 points Eagles v Tiges: Tigers cause upset by 10 points Doggies V Swans: Swans by 25 points Demons V Lions: Demons (just) by 3 points Blues V Saints: massacre, Saints by 50 points eased down. Port V Cats: Cats by 21 points.
Look I grew up in Melbourne so feely admit I am genetically incapable of appreciating anything other than one kind of football. Just wanted to get you thugby types on the defensive...

Sydney is a Rugby League town They have a small base of AFL supporters,20k out of a population of 4.5mil, a few more take a passing interest but thats it.Wait until they put a few bad years back to back.
Why do you think that Brisbane, Sydney gets a salary cap discount,they need them winning. A true test of a supporter is someone who can suport a losing team and in Sydney that won't happen.

What a load of dribble, Aussie Rules doesnt get a look in in Sydney, not true (I bet it gets more of a run than League gets in Melbourne) Rugby league is a great game just like Australian Rules, Football (soccer) etc etc and all for different reasons,different skill sets, you getting it ?? BTW - I've seen plenty of viscious, thugish attacks in Aussie Rules as well, do you think it has anything to do with the fact these guys play for keeps(sometimes going overboard)and just maybe thats why they make it to the top cause they want it more. Individuals come and go in any great sporting contests so I suggest anyone dirty on recent off the field events still tune in cause it will as always be a great contest between 2 teams very passionate for their respective causes.
I was living in NSW last year and the main reason I couldn't wait to get out of there was the incessant media coverage of what is a truly dumb, insular, pointless and uninspiring sport - played by dumb, insular etc etc fat-necked fools.
Aussie Rules barely got a look in unless Sydney were playing at home.
At least Western Australians have their sporting priorities right!
