Interesting to see Tatts announce that they are refunding monies bet on the dogs - call me cynical but as Tatts hold very market share in aust sports betting, i doubt it's a whole lotta money.
More likely a cheap way to get some marketing done!
On a related note - I don't see how bookies can keep monies bet on the wooden spoon when the dogs were not quoted for much of the season. Unless they had a price quoting "any other team" along with the likely candidates, then bets placed on those other candidates should be refunded.
