Message: Is it me, or is the new NSW website not as good as the old one? Where are the approximate dividends for quaddies? Where are the amounts in dollars wagered on each runner in the quaddies as it used to be? The website on Saturdays is sluggish....sometimes you have to wait minutes for screens to come up, many times you can't get bets on becuase it freezes. This does not happen any other day. What is going to happen when the Spring carnival arrives? I have not received any feedback from the complaints I have sent them about all of this. Let's hope they get a new, revamped website like the old one when Supertab kicks in..... at the moment this situation is a disgrace. I wish they would fix it.
Message: Stibbar, you are completely correct. Tabcorp has no clue with regard to customer service and could you believe are trying to set up a NT bookmaking business!! They have no brand loyalty and if anything us punters will purposely not bet with them on principle.
The website's server is ordinary and it is like pulling teeth trying to put a bet on in peak periods. Right now at 2pm on a Friday I cant even get into the site.
I have also had no response from the TAB.
It has also cost me a quid over the last few weeks.
I did notice the smarties put the phone options on their front page (shows we are not alone)
Message: i am a banana bender although i don't bet i look at all of the sites. for the eastern states although haven't seen the nsw one lately. what i can't understand though is obsessions with apoproximates for races other than win & place or am i missing someting?
you either get the double or the treble or the first four or trifecta etc or you don't. i find it difficult to thinkanybody could honestly say in this forum that they wouldn't have an exotic bet if they thought the odds were too low.
it is also oneofthe reasons the racetab site works so much quickerwith dialup. notnearly as much fuss as the other states about looking pretty.
Message: We still use the old site - http://old.racetab.com.au/ - and don't even bother struggling with the new version.
The only way to salvage the situation is to scrap it and go again but this time they should start with SPECIFICATIONS before trying to link pretty web pages to their database. The "back end" of that site would resemble "spaghetti-ware", not software and no matter how hard the techos try, they will never be able to get it right given the design flaws.
BTW, where is the forumite responsible for this mess? Haven't seen "monster" around for a while. Maybe he doesn't work at TAB anymore.......
Bonnie, if you want a bit of a giggle do a search on "monster" and I think you will soon realise why the new site draws so much criticism from users.
I agree, only have dial up where i am at the moment,NSW Tab & Centerbet drive me CRAZY they move so slow. The good old 4TAB (now TAB onlone) seems to be the best for speed.
